In the morning I worship the lotus hands of Raghunatha — which strike fear into the demon armies and grant boons to his own; which at once broke the great bow of Maheshvara in the royal assembly and auspiciously won Sita's hand in marriage. (160)

In the morning I bow to the lotus feet of Raghunatha — adorned with the auspicious marks of the lotus, goad, and other signs, contemplated by the best of yogis like bees at a lotus, which instantly released the wife of Gautama from her curse. (161)

May the lotus-eyed one protect me — the best lord of the Raghu dynasty, the lord of Janaki's life, the fulfiller of his father's word, the giver of the kingdom to the king of monkeys (Sugriva), the destroyer of demon after demon, who reclaimed the kingdom and entered it, who is established as the protector of the universe.
