The Ramayana Jaya Mantram captures the triumphant voice of Hanuman as he declares his unwavering devotion to Lord Rama and his confidence in the face of countless foes. Drawn from the narrative of the Ramayana, these verses present Hanuman identifying himself as the servant of the Lord of Kosala, the son of the wind god, and the destroyer of enemy armies. With characteristic boldness, he proclaims that not even a thousand Ravanas could match him in battle.

जयत्यतिबलो रामो लक्ष्मणश्च महाबलः
राजा जयति सुग्रीवो राघवेणाभिपालितः ।
दासोहं कोसलेन्द्रस्य रामस्याक्लिष्टकर्मणः
हनुमान् शत्रुसैन्यानां निहन्ता मारुतात्मजः ॥
jayatyatibalō rāmō lakṣmaṇaścha mahābalaḥ
rājā jayati sugrīvō rāghavēṇābhipālitaḥ ।
dāsōhaṃ kōsalēndrasya rāmasyākliṣṭakarmaṇaḥ
hanumān śatrusainyānāṃ nihantā mārutātmajaḥ ॥
jayatyatibalō raamō lakshmanashcha mahaabalah
raajaa jayati sugriivō raaghavēnaabhipaalitah ।
daasōham kōsalēndrasya raamasyaaklishtakarmanah
hanumaan shatrusainyaanaam nihantaa maarutaatmajah ॥

न रावण सहस्रं मे युद्धे प्रतिबलं भवेत्
शिलाभिस्तु प्रहरतः पादपैश्च सहस्रशः ।
अर्धयित्वा पुरीं लङ्कामभिवाद्य च मैथिलीं
समृद्धार्धो गमिष्यामि मिषतां सर्वरक्षसाम् ॥
na rāvaṇa sahasraṃ mē yuddhē pratibalaṃ bhavēt
śilābhistu praharataḥ pādapaiścha sahasraśaḥ ।
ardhayitvā purīṃ laṅkāmabhivādya cha maithilīṃ
samṛddhārdhō gamiṣyāmi miṣatāṃ sarvarakṣasām ॥
na raavana sahasram mē yuddhē pratibalam bhavēt
shilaabhistu praharatah paadapaishcha sahasrashah ।
ardhayitvaa puriim lankaamabhivaadya cha maithiliim
samriddhaardhō gamishyaami mishataam sarvarakshasaam ॥
