Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram – Verse 1
About this stotra
Lord Rama is a central figure in Hindu tradition, revered as the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. He is celebrated for his righteousness, valor, and adherence to dharma. Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram is traditionally attributed to the 17th-century Marathi saint-poet Lakshmanacharya, originating from his work Sri Nama Ramayanam. It was later famously edited and popularized by Mahatma Gandhi during the Salt March, while Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar composed the familiar musical tune.
