॥ १ ॥♪ CHANTING NOW
Verse 1
ऋष्यादि न्यासः
अस्य श्री महागणपति मूलमन्त्रस्य । गणक ऋषिः । निचृद्गायत्रीच्छन्दः । महागणपतिर्देवता । ग्लौं बीजं । ह्रीं शक्तिः । ग्लूं कीलकम् । श्री महागणपतिप्रसाद सिद्धयर्थे जपे विनियोगः ॥
Ṛṣyādi Nyāsaḥ
asya śrī mahāgaṇapati mūlamantrasya | gaṇaka ṛṣiḥ | nicṛdgāyatrīcchandaḥ | mahāgaṇapatirdēvatā | glauṁ bījaṁ | hrīṁ śaktiḥ | glūṁ kīlakam | śrī mahāgaṇapatiprasāda siddhayarthē japē viniyōgaḥ ||
For this Sri Maha Ganapati Mula Mantra; Ganaka is the Seer. Nicrud-Gayatri is the metric framework. Maha Ganapati is the presiding deity. Glaum is the seed sound. Hreem is the energetic power. Gloom is the structural key pin. This japa is offered for the attainment of the grace and blessings of Sri Maha Ganapati.

Verse 2
करन्यासः
ॐ गां अङ्गुष्ठाभ्याम् नमः।
श्रीं गीं तर्जनीभ्यां नमः।
ह्रीं गूं मध्यमाभ्यां नमः।
क्लीं गैं अनामिकाभ्यां नमः।
ग्लौं गौं कनिष्टिकाभ्यां नमः।
गं गः करतलकरपृष्ठाभ्यां नमः॥
Karanyāsaḥ
ōṁ gāṁ aṅguṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ |
śrīṁ gīṁ tarjanībhyāṁ namaḥ |
hrīṁ gūṁ madhyamābhyāṁ namaḥ |
klīṁ gaiṁ anāmikābhyāṁ namaḥ |
glauṁ gauṁ kaniṣṭhikābhyāṁ namaḥ |
gaṁ gaḥ karatalakarapr̥ṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ ||
Om Gam - Salutations to the thumbs.
Shreem Geem - Salutations to the index fingers.
Hreem Goom - Salutations to the middle fingers.
Kleem Gaim - Salutations to the ring fingers.
Glaum Gaum - Salutations to the little fingers.
Gam Gah - Salutations to the front and back of the palms.

ह्र्दयादि न्यासः
ॐ गां ह्र्दयाय नमः।
श्रीं गीं शिरसे स्वाहा।
ह्रीं गूं शिखायै वषट्।
क्लीं गैं कवचाय हुं।
ग्लौं गौं नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट्।
गं गः अस्त्राय फट्॥
भूर्भुवस्सुवरोमिति दिग्बन्धः॥
Hṛdayādi Nyāsaḥ
ōṁ gāṁ hr̥dayāya namaḥ |
śrīṁ gīṁ śirasē svāhā |
hrīṁ gūṁ śikhāyai vaṣaṭ |
klīṁ gaiṁ kavacāya hum |
glauṁ gauṁ nētratrayāya vauṣaṭ |
gaṁ gaḥ astrāya phaṭ |
bhūrbhuvassuvarōṁ iti digbandhaḥ |
Om Gam - Salutations to the heart.
Shreem Geem - Offerings to the head.
Hreem Goom - Blessings to the crown tuft.
Kleem Gaim - Protection of the energetic armor.
Glaum Gaum - Illumination to the three cosmic eyes.
Gam Gah - Weapons of spiritual defense.
Boundaries are sealed across the cosmic planes.

Verse 4
ध्यानम्
बीजापूर गदेक्षु कार्मुकरुजा चक्राब्ज पाशोत्पल व्रीह्यग्र स्वविषाण रत्न कलश प्रोद्यत् कराम्भोरुहः।
ध्येयो वल्लभया सपद्मकरया श्लिष्टोज्ज्वलद्भूषया विश्वोत्पत्ति विपत्ति संस्थितिकरो विग्नेश इष्टार्थदः॥
Dhyānam
bījāpūragadēkṣukārmukarujācakrābjapāśōtpala vrīhyagrasvaviṣāṇaratnakalaśaprōdyatkarāmbhōruhaḥ |
dhyēyō vallabhayā sapadmakarayā śliṣṭō jvaladbhūṣayā viśvōtpattivipattisaṁsthitikarō vighnēśa iṣṭārthadaḥ ||
He holds a pomegranate; a club; a sugarcane bow; a chakra; a lotus flower; a rope; divine flowers; a paddy plant; His own tusk; a kalasa made of precious gems; while hugging His Consort Vallaba who holds a lotus flower and shines with brilliant ornaments. I bow to the Lord of Obstacles who creates; sustains; and dissolves the universe; and who grants all desires.

Verse 5
पञ्चपूजा
लं - पृथिव्यात्मकं गन्धं समर्पयामि।
हं - आकाशात्मकं पुष्पं समर्पयामि।
यं - वाय्वात्मकं धूपमाघ्रापयामि।
रं - अग्न्यात्मकं दीपं दर्शयामि।
वं - अमृतात्मकं अमृतोपहारं निवेदयामि॥
Pañcapūjā
laṁ pr̥thivyātmakaṁ gandhaṁ samarpayāmi |
haṁ ākāśātmakaṁ puṣpaṁ samarpayāmi |
yaṁ vāyvātmakaṁ dhūpamāghrāpayāmi |
raṁ agnyātmakaṁ dīpaṁ darśayāmi |
vaṁ amr̥tātmakaṁ amr̥tōpahāraṁ nivēdayāmi |
Lam - I offer fragrant sandalwood paste representing the Earth element.
Ham - I offer flowers representing the Space element.
Yam - I offer fragrant incense smoke representing the Air element.
Ram - I offer the light of a lamp representing the Fire element.
Vam - I offer sweet food offerings representing the Water element.

Verse 6
महागणपति मूलमन्त्रः
ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं ग्लौं गं गणपतये वरवरद सर्वजनं मे वशमानय स्वाहा॥
Mahāgaṇapati Mūlamantra
ōṁ śrīṁ hrīṁ klīṁ glauṁ gaṁ gaṇapatayē varavarada sarvajanaṁ mē vaśamānaya svāhā |
Om. Shreem Hreem Kleem Glaum Gam. Salutations to the Lord of all groups. O Bestower of ultimate boons! Bring universal harmony and support into my life. I surrender completely to this divine reality.

दिग्विमोकः
ॐ गां ह्र्दयाय नमः।
श्रीं गीं शिरसे स्वाहा।
ह्रीं गूं शिखायै वषट्।
क्लीं गैं कवचाय हुं।
ग्लौं गौं नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट्।
गं गः अस्त्राय फट्॥
भूर्भुवस्सुवरोमिति दिग्विमोकः॥
Digvimōkaḥ
ōṁ gāṁ hr̥dayāya namaḥ |
śrīṁ gīṁ śirasē svāhā |
hrīṁ gūṁ śikhāyai vaṣaṭ |
klīṁ gaiṁ kavacāya hum |
glauṁ gauṁ nētratrayāya vauṣaṭ |

गुह्यातिगुह्यगोप्ता त्वं गृहाणास्मत्-कृतं जपम्।
सिद्धिर्भवतु मे देव त्वत्प्रसादान्मयि स्थिरा॥
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः॥
Samarpaṇam
guhyātiguhyagōptā tvaṁ gr̥hāṇāsmatkr̥taṁ japam |
siddhirbhavatu mē dēva tvatprasādānmayi sthirā ||
ōṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ |
O Lord who protects the deepest secrets of secrets; please accept this japa performed by me. May permanent spiritual and material success be firmly established in me through your grace.
