About this stotra

The Ekatmata Stotram (Hymn of Oneness) is a modern devotional composition that weaves together reverence for the Paramātman (Supreme Self) with love for Bhārata Mātā (Mother India). Opening with the classic Vedāntic invocation to Sat-Chit-Ānanda, the hymn proceeds to honor the five elements, celestial bodies, directions, and time itself as sources of auspiciousness. It then offers a striking image of the motherland — her feet washed by oceans, crowned by the Himālayas, and adorned with the jewels of sages and seers.
The stotram also salutes those who work for the upliftment of society and the advancement of knowledge. Composed to inspire national unity through a spiritual lens, it connects individual devotion to collective identity, seeing the land and its people as expressions of one divine reality.
The closing verse promises that one who recites this hymn with faith will remain steadfast in rāṣṭra dharma (duty to the nation) and will ever remember an undivided Bhārata.
