When submitting your request, please include the following information:

• The email address associated with your Satyam account
• Your full name (as registered on the app)
• A clear statement that you want to delete your account and all associated data
• Confirmation that you understand this action is permanent and irreversible

Upon approval of your deletion request, we will permanently remove the following data from our systems:

• Personal Information: Name, email address, profile photo, and authentication credentials
• Birth Details: Date, time, and location of birth used for astrology features
• User-Generated Content: Bookmarks, highlights, saved mantras, community posts, and other content you created within the app
• Usage Data: App usage patterns, preferences, and interaction history
• Subscription Information: Payment history and subscription status (while financial records may be retained for legal compliance, your personal identifiers will be anonymized)

We are committed to processing your data deletion request as quickly as possible:

• Verification: We will verify your identity within 2-3 business days to ensure the security of your account
• Deletion Processing: Once verified, account deletion will be initiated within 5 business days
• Complete Removal: Your data will be permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days of request approval
• Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be removed during the next scheduled backup cycle, typically within 90 days

You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been successfully deleted from our active systems.

In certain circumstances, we may retain some information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Legal Obligations: Financial transaction records required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance (with personal identifiers anonymized)
• Fraud Prevention: Minimal data necessary to prevent fraudulent account creation or abuse of our services
• Analytics: Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you personally
• Legal Claims: Data necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

All retained data will be kept only as long as necessary and will be anonymized where possible.

Please be aware of the following consequences before requesting data deletion:

• You will permanently lose access to your Satyam account and all associated features
• All your saved content, preferences, and spiritual journey progress will be irreversibly deleted
• Any active subscriptions (Satyam Plus or Satyam Pro) will be immediately canceled without refund for the remaining period
• You will not be able to recover your data after deletion is complete
• If you wish to use Satyam again, you will need to create a new account and start from the beginning

If you're not ready for permanent deletion, consider these alternatives:

• Account Deactivation: Temporarily disable your account while retaining your data for future reactivation
• Data Export: Request a copy of your personal data before deletion (see our Privacy Policy for details)
• Privacy Settings: Adjust your privacy settings and notification preferences within the app
• Selective Deletion: Delete specific content or data while keeping your account active
